After nearly a year since beginning operations in Australia, PDC has been awarded a long term contract to provide directory distribution services for Sensis, based upon its strong relationship, and early successes in Perth and Melbourne.
Over the next three years, PDC-Australia will deliver 10 million directories each year, spanning three states: Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. The operation will be headquartered in Melbourne, and will be led by Stephen Pighin, General Manager – Australian Operations.
The new contract marks an expanded partnership with Australia’s leader in telephone directory publication, and solidifies PDC’s efforts to establish a permanent presence in the country, with local management and delivery infrastructure.
Under Stephen Pighin’s leadership, PDC-Australia will support Sensis operations in these critical three states, and look to grow the relationship to support directory distribution across the continent, with cost-effective services and high-quality results.

Following AT&T’s review of the 2008 Supplier Quality Alliance submissions, PDC is honored to be awarded a Silver Quality Award. The Award symbolizes PDC’s commitment to quality and recognizes our team’s efforts and results throughout 2008.
AT&T Advertising Solutions has made an on-going commitment to quality through its Supplier Quality program for the past fourteen years. AT&T conducts this program annually because it believes that a focus on continual quality improvement enhances the value of the product it produces and delivers.
In addition to the traditional focus on quality, the 2008 Award also evaluated Suppliers on new categories including, corporate sustainability and environmental stewardship. Providing a cost competitive, quality product to AT&T has always been critical and now must also include a commitment to responsible business practices.
Eleven total Suppliers were recognized with an Award for 2008 with just two announced as Gold Award winners. The expectations of our clients continue to be raised and PDC will work harder to strive for the Gold.

During a ceremony at the Yellow Pages Association 2009 Conference, PDC was honored to receive the Gold Award for Outstanding Achievement in Yellow Page Process Innovation for the design and implementation of Verus Trak GPS. This award, presented by a key industry trade organization, recognizes that PDC’s VerusTrak is a unique solution for the Directory Publishing industry.
PDC and our publishing clients understand the importance of distribution. The ability to verify the successful, on-time delivery of printed directories to customers is clearly a competitive advantage for publishers in today’s challenging marketplace. PDC’s VerusTrak combined with verification calling offers the best methodology available to insure that print directories are delivered correctly and reach as many customers as possible. As more of our client’s make a commitment to Verus Trak, it clearly demonstrates the value of the system, and the importance of the competitive advantage it offers.
This recognition is further proof that GPS will become the quality standard in the distribution of print directories and PDC’s VerusTrak is the best GPS process available in the industry today.

Effective Monday, April 6, 2009, PDC's Canadian operating company, formerly known as Canwest Directory Distributors, will change its trade name to PDC Logistics. There has been no change in management and PDC Logistics will continue to provide the same fine service upon which it built its reputation in the industry.
PDC Logistics will now operate out of both of its regional offices in Vancouver and Toronto, and serve operations across four major provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.

PDC proudly announces an expanded relationship with Yellow Pages Group to distribute its directories in Ontario and Quebec, in addition to current business in British Columbia and Alberta. Beginning in mid-February, PDC will work with YPG and National Sales and Distribution (NSD) to transition the Initial and Secondary distribution operations to its PDC Logistics division.
On March 1, 2009, PDC Logistics will operate from its Toronto regional office and warehouse. We look forward to a long and continued strong relationship with YPG, and appreciate their commitment to PDC and the associates who help make both companies successful every day.

The future of technology in directory delivery has arrived!! PDC’s revolutionary new GPS system, VerusTrak, will help usher in a new era in delivery validation and quality management, and will be deployed for Idearc Media across the country in late 2008.
We appreciate Idearc Media’s support of this critical initiative through its development and now its application. Idearc has worked closely with PDC this year to help us develop and refine a unique technology, and has committed to the long term use of the system, while extending our relationship through 2012.
VerusTrak will cost effectively complement IVR and third party audits, providing multi-tiered documentation of delivery completion. And as an added long term benefit, both companies expect that it will be a valuable quality management tool, helping our Initial teams improve processes and distributor performance through more timely feedback.

Beginning in September, CanWest Directory Distributors, PDC's sister company in Canada, will begin delivering samples and door hanger advertising for Prospect Media, Inc. Distributions will be managed in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, from our operations office in Calgary, and supported by the Vancouver regional office.
CanWest will provide full market coverage of all three Western Canada cities, for accurate and timely delivery of advertising material and consumer product samples. We look forward to an expanding relationship with Prospect Media into 2009.

Product Development Corporation has expanded its services in Australia to include Initial delivery operations for Sensis, Australia's leader in telephone directory publication. This direct relationship with Sensis begins with the vast Perth delivery in September, and will expand to Melbourne and beyond beginning in 2009.
To aid in the launch of this new service, PDC has sent five of its top operations managers, including its top Operations executive, to Australia. This team will work to manage the Perth delivery, and prepare for the future. In early 2009, PDC intends to establish a permanent operating company in Australia, complete with local management and delivery infrastructure, to support the growing partnership with Sensis across the continent.
